I'm not sure about the history of this....wooden Limbo's?
limbo design sailing boat (#170459703400)
Anyway, it looks like a starter boat!

Andrew Stewart designed several small IOR boats, some of limited production runs. There is a similar looking boat in Bradwell Marina, Essex complete with fractional 2 spreader rig and runners. There was also a Limbo 21, built in ply. The Stewart designed Medway 26's and 27 were hard chine as well. I'm sure some of these would have been ply, although I think the 27 (a one off called 'Misty') was FRP.
The stem does not look raked enough to be an E-Boat or Robber.

If you look at the photos on the Limbo link site I note that there appear to be 2 similar hard chine Limbo's : Limbo Fraoch and Miffy2, but don't know anything about their ancestry.

The Stewart 24 in Bradwell Marina which Scott refers to above is currently for sale on Ebay, opening at £999 but no bids yet. Whether or not it's a mini tonner is debatable and I seem to recall the question of whether it's a quarter tonner being asked on the QT website.

Here is some more information on the boat mentioned above-
Hi I have added the photo's to the listing. She has a clipper duet speed and depth, there are two horse shoe safety things a flag and pole for the back. 2 burner gas stove not connected but included a radio never fitted(second hand). there are seven genoa's or jibs two spinakers and as it stands One main although i was convinced there was two. She has bunk cushions for forward triangular berth and for the two side births and a bag of bits and peices. The cradle in which the boat sits is also included in the sale. Oh there is also ropes and fenders of course. The work needed is basically strip down of the topsides and a coat of paint there are a couple of approx 12' strips of fibreglass tape to the underside needed and a small piece across the deck near the back where the water has got into a joint and one side has swelled a little. that is all to my knowledge. hope this helps. can only recomend to take a look if thats possible.
Currently there are 6 bids and the highest stands at £132. Im with Greybeard on this one about it being a Mini.

Just spotted this on ebay, an Intro 22, not so much a yacht more a blank canvas, Item number: 260569007559, only one bid of £100.00 so far. Heard Intros are fast, faster than Sonatas in certain conditions, the mini tonners seem to be coming out of the woodwork on ebay. Wish I lived over on the mainland so I could get to see some of these bargins but it's to risky to bid sight unseen and what with the cost of transport back to Ireland, usually at short notice, it might not turn out to be a good deal.

willmitchell, thanks for the offer but no, I promised my 15 year old daughter we would be racing by Easter so I need something a bit more complete, I have my eye on one or two rigs and hope to have something in the bag in the next few weeks, but thanks for the offer.

Looks like someone got an Intro project for £100.00. Does anyone know who bought it, let's hope they are minitonner enthusiasts?
