Hi All
I'm reluctantly selling my Fox Terrier 22 - family are getting bigger and it's now a little too small down below for what we want to do!
Asking price is £4,000. on e-bay for £3,500 starting bid. Feel free to make me a sensible offer. Has a good trailer and is small enough with the keel up to fit on your drive and not block all the light from the window!
Go on..... make it an early Christmas present!
It is on e-bay at the moment, item number 182897593622

it is also on Facebook - Yachts and yachty bits for sale and a link on the Mini's page.
Description on e-bay and Facebook is:
Moving up to a bigger boat for longer cruising with the Family. Much loved wee boat. Owned for about 5 years. (sorry the pics are a show a bit of dirt here and there (just taken out of the water - she is now lying on her trailer at Barry Yacht Club)
Below the Fox Terrier has a lot of room for her size, Hunter Sonata owners have been on board and are amazed at the amount of room in comparison to their boats.
2 x main, laminate No.1, dacron 1, 2 and storm jib. Kite. Main sails and kite are from a Sonata which fit well so no shortage of sails available on the internet.
Work done since we've had her:
Keel bolts replaced and new lifting becket for keel
New chain winch
All new halyards last year, Dyneema main and jib. New spinlock clutches to go with the new thinner halyards.
New vhf aerial and LED tri colour 2016
£2,800 of insurance work completed 2 years ago due to a 'coming together' on the mooring: hull painted, deck painted shroud base strengthened and internal stringer fitted. All by professional boat builder.
New Icom 323 VHF 2015
New chemical toilet (still got the wrapper on!)
Replaced the outboard with 5hp 4 stroke in 2015 (cost £600) Engine is almost 'as new' condition and has an external tank.
Forgot to mention..... Clipper Duet speed and depth and Clipper repeater (about 4 years old) in the cockpit + bulkhead mounted steering compass.
Down below has 4 berths and a 2 burner stove. 2 adults + 2 kids no probs or 4 adults if your friendly! Saloon drop leaf table when the keel is down.
We have sailed on the Bristol Channel with her and have had no problems with the horrible short seas that you get with wind over tide. I fitted the a second reefing point to the boom which has been worth while - sailing in a force 7 with the kids and I on board - no dramas.
We have won more club races than we have lost, again often with just the family or with novice crew on board.
I think that's all.... trailer works well (new brake cables and a service 2014) boat has been trialed from south Wales to the West Coast Scotland and back again - as well as from Scarborough to South Wales. I can deliver at a negotiated price if required (and the distance is within reason!)
Basically a cheap, sound, good looking little boat with a good trailer and a good turn of speed when you want to have a race or two.
I also have Tomahawk listed elsewhere.
Sorry - forgot to add - deposit from winning bidder please to secure sale. Thanks!
