Some phone pics taken today showing the new rudder, plywood epoxy coated with the basic shape and profile copied from the Corby 25sin the yard. It looks great but time will tell if its right.
The boat is due to be measured on Saturday and then launched so my first sail will be hopefully this weekend.
Another pic.

Looks good how did you manage to get the aerofoil shape onto it? I want to build a new rudder myself as current one is too short but cant get my head around the foil shape

I took a template of the aerofoil from the Corby 25 and laminated two sheets of 3/4 marine ply, as you plane the shape the laminates become exposed and give absolute symmetrical guidance to get both sides identical. The unknown is really the amount of surface in front of the shaft and the angle of the rudder blade. I actually made it a bit more vertical than the Corby 25.Its a far more modern shape and 8" deeper than the previous rudder so hoping for great things.
