Not quite a Mini but a mates given me a dig out in the last few days to get a new mast for mini which was easyish to get. However he has a 3/4 ton that needs a mast and there dont seem to be many suitable rigs for that size boat lying around in Ireland and not much of a class to get a second hand one from so hopping someone here could suggest a few boat yards/clubs/any other source in the UK that we could possibly source a rig in. Doesnt necessarily need to have running and standing rigging. Any help or suggestions be much appreciated

A serviceable mast going spare?
Quite a big ask as the Americans would say.
There is a Yahoo group called Marina Skip where people post surplus gear. Might be worth putting a request on there

You never get a lead unless you ask. Managed to get myself a new rig by putting an ad up on the 1/4 ton class site and someone did just happen to have a spare mast lying around. Its amazing what people have lying around.

I don't think the 3/4 tonners have reformed as a class (would be happy to be proved wrong), unlike us or the 1/4 tonners.
1/4 tonners website could be a good place to start, they have a big solent presence and there is a massive concentration of boatyards and marinas there.

The whole of the River Hamble is marinas, moorings and yards going as far upstream as it is navigable.
Try the Elephant boatyard, or Hamble Yacht Services who have several small oufits in their yard.
