Lets hope the weather permits this time! As there was a decent number of MT entrants for Day 2. Who's in? IRC Solent Series Championship 2011 - Day 3 run by Portsmouth Sailing Club Saturday 23rd July 2011 The third event in the 2011 IRC Solent Series takes us to the Eastern Solent where Potsmouth Sailing Club will be our hosts. There wil be 2 races around the cans - excellent practice to explore the area before Cowes week. The first warning signal will be at 12 noon, giving Central Solent boats plenty of time to reach the Gillkicker start area. Entries welcome from boats with an IRC rating of between 0.820 and 1.360. Enter the IRC Solent Series events for just £35 per day through SCRA; entries close through SCRA on 15th July, after that date, enter via the club. More information and entry form on www.solentirc.org.uk or phone 01983 295744 for further details. All competitors are welcome back to the Portsmouth Sailing club after racing where the bar will be open. A ferry service will be available from local marinas.

I'm pleased you are entered Matt, thought it would be even better if Ken and Rowan had entered their own boats too! :
Have you found crew yet george? You are not on the entry list.
See you all tomorrow.

Well that was fun! A real treat not to be hanging on for dear life and the first time we've had the no. 1 up since April. Well done eskymo for being fastest mini tonner and getting a win. Good to see fuzzy rush out too, will you be doing the rest of the series Matt? Good to have George out with us but I'm won't let him come next time if it means one less mini tonner. Ironic that there were 6 mini tonner owners out but only 3 boats. We need to do something about that if we are going to get a class 5 any time soon Olly
