This is a boat I thought about before going for Secondanita. She was built in late 1980's for Vincenzo Onorato who subsequently was better known as boss of the "Mascalzone Latino" America's cup team. I am told she is very quick lower in the wind range (as mine). Alternatives out there are 3 Rivetto's (inc. one in Austria) and another Miniwing (sister to mine), a racy looking one in Holland (undefined designer but looks quick) and many more. Just Google Minitonner and look at the pictures. Don't be frightened of buying a boat in Italy/Holland/Germany - language is often not a problem. The trip home takes a little while though. Contact me if i can help anyone - I can now understand ads in Italian! Richard with antifouling taste in Germany

I haven't weighed her, but the old IMS weight was 866kg in 1998. Exactly what was included is not clear but without engine. She will gain 100kg in the coming months with an engine. Eventually I will weigh her, but that is not a priority at present. write to me richard(dot)salter(at)t-online(dot)de if you want more info. richard

This boat is now for sale again - contact me via this board for more info (I don't want to post an email address here). I have nothing in this sale, only a wish that a near sister of SA is enjoyed. User willser see your private messages for contact info.

Don't know, sorry. It was never stated last year or this year when she was for sale, and it's quite possible she has raced under ORC which is more widely used in Italy. Having seen a few photos, she appears to be much as original, so I would expect IRC to be near 0.85. For around 5000 euros she is a lot of boat. Contact me if you want to investigate further, I can put you in touch.
