Well speaking to a couple of clubs that I'm a memeber of who would be more than happy to have us are saying for around 10 boats they would be looking at an entry fee of £100 - 125, for a 3 day event and they have an on site crane which they would use to put the boats in with along with a slip way just round the corner. Dedicated start and a mxture of race formats.

The Amendment to the NOR is posted at: www.islandsc.org.uk/racingdocuments.aspx Effectively this changes the day's race format from 3 Races: (1 Round the Cans and 2 x Windward/Leewards) to: 1 Round the Cans race and up to 4 x Windward/Leewards) obviously at the discretion of the OOD and weather permitting...... This should ensure a full day of racing! We aim to please!!!!!!

Do we have an idea of when the first start will be?
I will need to have a logistical plan in place for my crew long before the SIs come out.

Regarding Cowes Yacht Haven Marina bookings, I have let them know we (The Mini Tonners) are coming, but they are rather too engrossed in Cowes week right now to be very communicative - which is quite understandable..... However, Marina bookings are only taken on line via their website (and bookings are paid at point of booking by Paypal), so do save yourselves the trouble of a wasted phone call and get straight on the PC! www.cowesmarina.com/berthing/book_your_berth_onlinesee you all over there! Sorry to have to tell the news, Secondanita will not be making it to the MTC this year. Due to an unfortunate combination of things, I have run out of time. She is currently sitting at my parents' house in England with much to do and no time left. On a happier note, I met Ludo Isaert a few days ago as we were on the way to UK, and we are both looking forward to 2012. One idea is to sail across together from France. Watch this space.
Richard (not really relaxing on holiday in England).

I'm sad not to be able to take part - just didn't have enough time, however I10440 is currently parked in Oxfordshire. We'll be there next year without question; the earlier the date is fixed, the better it is for us. If I am still working full time, I am expected to book my summer holiday in January/February. 16 MT'S, followed by 45 half-tonners, pure nostalgia for the older ones amongst us who sailed these gorgeous boats in their original era. Wishing all a successful regatta and much fun, Richard Ute and Secondanita Attachments:
