So I was watching a bit of this and noticed that after all the millions have been spent, you have boats that you have to bin the race if the wind excess 20 knots for fear of another death, and when its light, you can't finish within the time limit.
Gents, you'd be be better off with mini runners, saved a fortune, had close racing.

...and now they cancel the next one because it was raining! Perhaps it is a California thing, sunshine is obligatory? I hope the MTC doesn't get infected by this sort of thinking. I learnt to be prepared for, and to work with, the prevailing weather conditions, and to decide for myself when the weather is not good for sailing.
