Kept my boat at Cargreen in the first year of ownership. They have cheap deepwater moorings, but like Weir Quay, its a long way up the river. Moved down to the Cattewater to join in the racing in the sound

Cool, as Keith said, we should meet up somtime. Whilst looking for a moorings a couple of years back, I Aldi found the Stonehouse Pool Boatowners Association. They exist for people who can't afford a moorings elsewhere. Maybe worth a call.
Having no keelbox makes the interior much more usable. You might want to look round MJ sometime

well i have spoken to the MOBA and they have a mooring free that will be perfect for me so as long as my application is succesfull i think i will be keeping the boat there
and yea would be good to meet up and have a good chat learn more about the boats and i would like to have a look at mint julip

MBOA is definitely the cheapest in the Plymouth area. Deep water and of course you would be able to race with Martin and myself. Do you want an MBOA contact? The cost for Calvados is £360 for the season but there is an initial joining fee. Even if you dont want it this year worth putting name on list for 2014

That was my first time out it wasent to easy on my own when none of the cleats work so was a bit all over the place then the tiller extention fell off but easy fix i have a spair extention and will need to get a crew next time i have a play
